Vladimir Putin’s feet are trembling: new Parkinson’s theory

In the Russian city of Novo-Ogaryovo on Friday, Vladimir Putin met with Alexander Lukashenko, the president of Belarus. Putin’s feet, or his foot movements, garnered more attention during the discussions than the stated topic of the two sanctioned nations’ economic relations. He had a terrible time keeping them calm, as evidenced by official photos of the Kremlin.

On Twitter, Ukrainian government adviser Anton Gerashchenko questioned whether Putin’s trembling feet might be deliberate and whether he was using Morse code to communicate. Meanwhile, other Twitter users assume that the tremors might indicate Parkinson’s illness. Vladimir Putin’s health is constantly the subject of rumours, as was the case last fall when he began the new academic year in Kaliningrad. His feet were shaky over there as well.
