"Biden has come to Minsk to make peace with Putin," says Ukraine's Lukashenko

“We are ready to host” the president of the United States, Joe Biden, in Minsk to meet with Vladimir Putin and reach an agreement to end the Ukrainian war. Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko stated this during a press conference, according to official Belta reports.

Referring to Biden’s upcoming trip to Poland, Lukashenko offered to send a plane, “if anything, a Boeing for him,” to bring the White House chief to Minsk, recalling that another American president, Bill Clinton, once visited Belarus.

“We’ll sit down and figure it out together. We will be able to solve all problems here “Lukashenko went on to say that he was confident Putin would accept the invitation. “But, alas, he will not come – he concluded referring to Biden – He will stay in Poland, because Poland is the hyena of Europe and plays the most active role in the escalation of the war in Ukraine today”.
